DIY Embroidery Wrapped Twig Necklace Tutorial from Plan B Anna Evers. This project could go one of two ways - really pretty or a craft fail. I think part of the success of this DIY depends on pretty end caps like the ones here.
DIY Easy No Sew Backless Studded Straps Tee Shirt Restyle from Wobisobi here. Anne uses studs to attach the straps in back (and at open seams to make sure they don’t come apart) and also to make the men’s tee sleeves slimmer cut. This would also make a nice beach cover up.

Raccoon Eye Pillows | Buzzmills
I’m starting to think that Racoons are going to be the ‘it’ animal of 2013 because I’ve been seeing adorable DIYs featuring the little critters everywhere! There are two versions of the eye mask here from Buzzmills - a soothing, lavender filled pillow and a soft felt one to wear when you’re catching some zzz’s. Both of these would make great gifts - get on the raccoon bandwagon now!
Painting by projector! I’ve seen this technique used for mural painting and this example makes me want to do a project like this on my own.
